More about Where Does It Come From?

Where Does It Come From? creates ethical, eco-friendly clothing and textile basics for retail and wholesale.

The brand was set up in 2013 to offer an alternative to fast fashion, creating clothing and accessories with positive impacts - on our planet, the farmers and workers in the fashion industry and on our mental health as consumers. Our unique selling point is that each item comes with a code on the label which enables customers to trace the whole supply chain, exploring the processes that we use and getting to know the people involved. We hope this will inspire customers in their buying and living choices going forward.

Our production work is done in partnership with social enterprises in India and Africa including co-operatives, artisan groups and fair trade workshops. We choose to work with materials and processes with consideration for our planet, such as organic, rainfed cotton, hand spinning and weaving and low water and carbon processes. We build and maintain trusted, long lasting relationships to ensure benefits to both sides through quality improvement, training and fair and consistent pricing.
