What was the motivation behind your brand, business or organisation? What did you want to change in the world?

We aim to redefine the nature of consumerism and shift perceptions of sustainability. For us, sustainability isn’t a choice, but a necessity. Providing an avenue for consumers to lead healthier and happier lives through sustainable choices, and the use of products that not only last longer but are of higher quality and are the better alternatives to those widely available. When we say 'sustainable' we mean it holistically, that takes into account our 3 pillars of:

  1. kind: Promoting dignity and quality of life for all humans and animals.
  2. healthy: Promoting health & happiness for mind, body, and soul.
  3. sustainable: Promoting planet awareness, sustainability and biodiversity.

Who is the team behind your brand, business or organisation?

We are having our team photos taken in the coming weeks to add to the website, but currently (March 2021), the team is 7: Joe, Lindsey, Danielle, Amelia, Luigi, Joel, Chikwendu. You can see some of us in our video on this page which was shot at our offices.

As a business and our expanding team, we have a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We approach our work fearlessly, learn quickly, improve constantly, and celebrate our wins at every turn. Everyone is welcome — as an inclusive workplace, our employees are comfortable bringing their whole authentic selves to work.

We are also hiring, and expect to have 3-5 new team members join us this year.

What one thing about your brand, business or organisation would most surprise us or is not known outside of your team?

One of our team (who was not vegan) had a health scare in 2019 and moved to eating vegan which cured them, without the need to undergo chemotherapy or immunotherapy. This was great to see the incredibly positive power of a compassionate wholefood plant-based vegan lifestyle in action.

For the principles and ethos by which Veo operates to become the standard for all business worldwide!
