More about Vegan Counsellor

Vegan counselling is a video based counselling service for the UK vegan community.

Counselling can help you work through past and present issues working towards solutions to meet your needs. I create a safe, empathetic and non judgemental space for you to explore what is troubling you, while being understanding of your vegan values and how this impacts on your life journey.

During the counselling sessions, we can explore your concerns and any past patterns which may be blocking you. I can help you work through:

Feelings of overwhelm about animal suffering

Climate anxiety about the future of the planet

Struggles in relationships with non-vegans

Issues with vegan parenting

Burnout from activism or animal rescue

I can help you to develop more meaningful connections with yourself and others. Therefore, moving from despair to active hope. I have experience and training in working with a wide range of issues, such as trauma, relationships and self esteem. Whether your concerns relate to veganism, or not, I am here to help.

I have a PostGraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and am registered in the UK with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP.) This is the main professional body for the counselling profession. I have a Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling Skills and hold a current Enhanced DBS check.

I qualified as a counsellor in 2003. My experience includes alcohol counselling and working for a domestic abuse charity. More recently, I’ve supported clients online with a wide range of issues. For example, relationships, trauma and anxiety. In addition, I’ve helped clients to improve motivation, self esteem, and confidence. My approach is Integrative. So I use techniques from different therapeutic approaches. This means I can vary my approach to meet your needs.

Starting counselling can seem like a big step. You might be unsure if I’m the right counsellor for you. Therefore, I offer a free introductory session. This gives you a chance to decide if you’d like to work with me. In addition, you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions.

I would love to hear from you. So please reach out with any questions.
