Dairy was never an ingredient in chocolate for thousands of years. Even in Europe the elite enjoyed their chocolate with coconut, almonds and fruit between 1600-1856. 250+ years plant-based chocolate enjoyed by the upper echelons. Nestle arrives in 1856 and adds milk powder. It’s cheaper and inhibits flavour perception by making people slimier. Nice?!

This is why, when Solkiki remove the dairy, we win the dairy cup for the U.K. year after year :). Winners of the dairy competition, against dairy bars and dairy judges. There’s a big clue there! Dairy is a cheap filler and must be avoided by everyone. Not just us vegans :)
