What was the motivation behind your project? What did you want to change in the world?

Herbs and edible flowers provide an abundance of sensory stimulus in a garden, on a patio or on a kitchen windowsill. They can be grown indoors or outdoors, by the skilled gardener and by the novice gardener. Growing from seed is a transformative process. It gives the mind something positive to focus on and uplifts the soul. Care and nurture are implicit when growing from seed and we believe that gardening encourages a multi-sensory kind of mindfulness that boots our mental wellbeing. We aim to promote positive mental wellbeing through gardening and donate 10% of any proceeds to charities that provide garden therapy opportunities in their local communities. All of our products are compostable.

Who is the team behind your project?

We are family run and based in Somerset.

What one thing about your project would most surprise us?

All of our kits are hand-stencilled and hand-stamped. Everything is handmade.

If your project could be granted one wish, what would you wish for?

We would love to team up with a regional or national mental health charity to help their fundraising goals and to boost the profile of garden therapy and gardening mindfulness.

Is there anything else that you would like to share with us about your project?

We test and grow all of our herbs and edible flowers in our little garden!
