Launched in 2021, Happily Ever After Book Box is the first fully vegan Book subscription company in the UK. Not only are all the chocolates and beauty treats vegan friendly, but each box also donates money to local animal rescue charities – including, for example The Wonkey Donkey Sanctuary, Millington’s Magical Barn, and Pigs in the Wood. Each book included in the boxes are new books but have been saved from landfill or being pulped (!), so are more environmentally friendly than buying brand new books.
Their mission is to save books from landfill, support the rescue of animals, and introduce people to amazing vegan-friendly chocolates and pamper products. All whilst indulging in some "me time" with a good book.
There are 2 monthly book subscriptions offered:
The Book and Pamper Box at £15 per month which includes:
• Choose your book from the current "Hot List" each month, or choose your genre to be surprised from a wide range of highly rated books
• Vegan Chocolate - will vary with each box so you can discover different yummy chocolates!
• Surprise pamper gift - (there will be a different gift every month to give you a lovely surprise beauty / pamper / relaxing treat e.g. soy candle, bath bomb etc)
• Sachets of Hot Drink – Herbal tea, coffee or tea
• A Bookmark with inspirational quote or pattern
There is also an option available for Young Adults.
The Box of Book at £15 per month which includes:
• 3 mystery, highly rated books from your choice of genre

All of our subscription boxes are posted on the 20th of the month. The cut-off date to sign up to receive each month's box is the 15th of the month.

Each box raises money for local animal rescue organisations. Our books are saved from landfill. Everything is vegan. We include LGBTQIA books upon request and have included items such as bookmarks to raise awareness.
