For every product sold, 1% goes to a charity called ‘The Felix Project’ which aims to tackle food waste and food poverty? 1.5 million adults in London struggle to afford to eat every day, 400,000 children are at risk of missing the next meal. Meanwhile, our food industry generates almost 2 million tonnes of good, edible surplus food each year. The Felix Project is a London-based food redistribution waste charity set up in 2016 to address both issues. The dedicated team at The Felix Project collect surplus food from that would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to people that regularly go hungry because of food poverty. By supporting this charity, we ensure that less food goes to landfill, incineration and anaerobic digestion. Instead we will be helping them reach thousands of people currently living below the poverty line. Apart from this, we occasionally partner with an organisation ‘ONE TREE PLANTED’ to offset our carbon footprint. One Tree Planted is a non-profit environmental charity which is dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!
